Calais Regional Hospital Announces New CEO
The Calais Regional Hospital Board of Directors is pleased to announce that J. Gary Rhodes has been selected as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Hospital. He was selected following a national search. The hospital has been under the direction of Harrell Connelly, Interim CEO since April. Mr. Rhodes has served as the CEO of Kane Community Hospital in Kane, PA for the past eleven years. Prior to that, he served four years as the Chief Operating Officer of Kane Community Hospital.
Mr. Rhodes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and is board certified in healthcare management.
"The board is delighted that Mr. Rhodes is coming to Calais,” stated Linda
Gralenski, Board Chair. “His proven strengths such as years of administrative healthcare experience in a similar-sized facility and his commitment to community will service us all well in the years to come.”
He and his wife, Joyce, will be relocating to the area soon. His start date has yet to be finalized.
